Congratulations to Grafton Public School's FACS teacher, Katie Gorder! She is the sole North Dakota recipient of the 2023-24 Milken Educator Award and the recipient of $25,000. Grafton High School students and staff along with local and state officials and past Milken Award winners were in attendance when the surprise was announced! C-O-N-G-R-A-T-S to the 12 spellers who competed in the Grafton School Spelling Bee. Eighth-grader Max Sillers was named the top speller for the second year in a row with the winning word, lavish. Max, along with sixth-graders Jesly Hernandez and Lizzy Garza, and fifth-grader Ricky Rice will move on to the Walsh County Spelling Bee on February 13th. Way to go Spoiler spellers!


Congratulations to the cast of the spring FOB production of "The Trial of the Big Bad Wolf". It's sure to be a grand time!


Juniors will be taking the ACT test on February 27. To help them prepare, TRIO Talent Search is offering full-length practice sessions in the coming weeks. If interested, bring your computer to Room 103, practice sessions begin at 7:30. Scheduled sessions are:
Wednesday, January 17 – English section
Wednesday, January 24 – Math section (starting at 7:20 for this section only)
Wednesday, February 7 – Reading section
Wednesday, February 14 – Science section


The TRIO Talent Search program is hosting a campus tour trip to Mayville State University on Wednesday, January 31, for interested students in grades 10, 11 and 12.
