If you're finding yourself or your student frustrated with Virtual Learning (VL), maybe these steps can be helpful!
First, depending on the grade of your student(s), they may have been issued a device from the school. When logging into that device, the settings of the device will work as they do in the building, like auto-loading pages and tabs, auto-entering passwords, etc.
If your student(s) do not have a school issued device for VL, these steps should help.
On a device, open the browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.) and search for GMail. Once it loads, enter your students' information. With the exception of a few students, their account is their firstname.lastname@gospoilers.org, example would be cameron.lentz@gospoilers.org. Their password should have been sent out with your child. Once students are logged into their gmail, they can access emails from teachers regarding assignments.
For K-6, the next step is to access Clever. Click this link to Clever or open a new tab and search for Clever. Make sure you log in as student AND that Grafton is the school district. Your student's login username and password is their student number. Enter student number in both spots and Clever will let you in. Once logged in, they can access their different apps as instructed by their teachers.
The next step for K-6 would be accessing the Protopage. Click here to access the Protopage, as instructed by their teachers.
7-12 students have been instructed to follow along in their Google Classrooms with their teachers. Again, on a school issued device, as they were instructed to bring home, tabs, passwords, etc. should load for your students.
If you're on a different device at home, your student might have to log into a few different apps within Google, like GMail, Google Drive, Google Classroom to follow along. Your 7-12 should be proficient in accessing their accounts.
If you still have issues or questions after these tips, please contact your teacher who can help or get in contact with the Technology Department if needed.
