I am thrilled to be your Primary Principal at Century Primary! It is a privilege to work with students, parents, staff, and teachers as we collaborate to create an engaging and nurturing environment for our preschool, kindergarten, first, and second graders!

Prior to my role as the Primary Principal, I held several positions in the Grafton Public School District. My first position was as the Extended School Project Coordinator (ESP) at the elementary school when the program was brand new. I also taught third grade and was a middle school reading specialist. I have worked as an instructional coach and curriculum director, and spent a couple of years as the middle school principal. Working with our youngest students has been my most rewarding work as an educator.

I received a bachelor's degree in Elementary and English Education, a master's degree in Instructional Leadership, and my Ph.D. in Instructional Leadership all from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. I've lived in Grafton since 2008, when my oldest child started preschool. My husband and I are proud to have our three children attending school in the Grafton Public School District.

Our Primary School strives to provide a safe and collaborate culture, effective teaching in every classroom, and a guaranteed and viable curriculum for all students. We put students first in our decision-making and believe building positive relationships with students and parents is key!
